BARMM Polls Postponement Cost Nearly P800M: Comelec Chief
The postponement of the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has cost the Philippine government nearly P800 million, with the majority allocated to logistics, ballot printing, and machine leases, according to Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chair George Erwin Garcia.
