CNG不正販売の乗用車2台、永久に燃料補給停止処分

Two passenger vehicles that illegally sold Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for motor vehicles have been permanently banned from refueling, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced on July 8. The ministry stated that as the state manages and provides CNG at affordable prices, YBS vehicles were instructed to operate only on designated routes under the supervision of the Yangon Region Public Transport Supervision Committee (YRTC) and to collect fares only at the prescribed rates, so that the public in the Yangon Region can benefit. However, despite these instructions, one motor vehicle with the YBS (65) label was not actually operating on the YBS route, but was operating as a factory ferry in the Ya Thargyi Industrial Zone in South Dagon Township, and was illegally selling CNG to another vehicle, according to a citizen's report mentioned in the announcement. Therefore, officials conducted an investigation and confirmed that the violations had actually occurred, and the two passenger vehicles were subjected to a permanent ban on refueling starting from June 30, according to the announcement.
