National Institute of Social Affairs Holds First Half-Year Work Review Meeting

The National Institute of Social Affairs convened a meeting on September 3, 2026, in Phnom Penh to review its work results for the first half of 2026 and set directions for the second half. The meeting was presided over by H.E. Tang Chungly, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, who oversees the institute. Attendees included H.E. Ung Vannarith, Under Secretary of State, along with leaders, officials, staff, and professors from the institute. H.E. Sor Boreyrith, Director of the National Institute of Social Affairs, stated that the meeting's objective was to assess progress and evaluate work achieved in the first half, discuss challenges, and define priority tasks for the second half. This aims to further strengthen the quality of management, training, research, and educational services in line with the Ministry's reform directions. H.E. Tang Chungly provided recommendations to leaders, officials, staff, and professors, urging them to enhance solidarity, responsibility, and creativity in efficiently carrying out their duties. He also encouraged the promotion of digital technology adoption, research, and cooperation with relevant partners to elevate the institute's quality and the development of human resources for the social affairs sector. The meeting proceeded in an active atmosphere, marked by responsibility and constructive participation, with the aim of collectively achieving the goals to make the National Institute of Social Affairs more qualitative, efficient, and excellent.
