Vice President U Nyo Saw visits thermal power plant and commercial port during Russia visit

Vice President U Nyo Saw on Friday visited Vladivostok’s largest thermal power plant and the Vladivostok Commercial Port, during his official visit to attend the 11th Eastern Economic Forum. At the Vladivostok CHP-2 thermal power plant, he heard briefing on electricity and heat generation and distribution. He later visited the Vladivostok Commercial Port and was briefed on cargo-handling operations using modern machinery. On September 3, the Vice President separately met with Russian Minister of Economic Development Mr. Maxim Reshetnikov and Sberbank Senior Vice President Mr. Vladimir Sitnov. They exchanged views on strengthening economic cooperation and investment between Myanmar and Russia.
