RUPP Offers Full Scholarships to Needy Students and Children of Fallen Veterans

The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) has announced that it will offer 100% scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year to outstanding students from low-income families and children of fallen veterans. This initiative aims to support access to higher education and alleviate financial burdens. The scholarships will be available for three fields of study: International Relations, Economics, and Political Science and Public Administration. For the scholarships targeting needy outstanding students, candidates must possess a Grade 12 diploma from the 2026 academic year, have achieved an overall grade of A or B, and pass the entrance examination for RUPP's foundation year. Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial hardship and possess a poverty certificate issued by local authorities. They must also not be recipients of any other scholarships. Meanwhile, the scholarships for children of fallen veterans require candidates to have a Grade 12 diploma and pass the entrance examination for RUPP's foundation year. They must be the children of former soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battlefield for the territorial integrity of Cambodia, with proof of their parent's sacrifice recognized by their unit. These candidates must also not be receiving any other scholarships.
