Transgender Woman Arrested with Crystal Meth and Drug Paraphernalia in Chonburi Checkpoint Operation

HUAI YAI, CHONBURI – At 2:40 a.m. on August 4th, 2026, Police Lieutenant Colonel Somphop Machan, Superintendent of Prevention and Suppression at Huai Yai Police Station, led officers from the station’s patrol unit in a joint operation with administrative officials from Banglamung District. The team assembled in front of Huai Yai Police Station before deploying to key roads within the area. During the operation, officers apprehended a transgender woman. A search of her belongings revealed crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The arrested individual is currently under interrogation at Huai Yai Police Station, with investigations ongoing into her alleged involvement in drug trafficking.
