Lam Dong: Phan Thiet Ward's Growth Radiates Across the Province
Phan Thiet Ward in Lam Dong Province focused on revenue collection, public investment, and administrative simplification in the first half of the year to achieve its "double-digit growth" target. On the afternoon of July 13, Comrade Y Thanh Ha Niê Kđăm, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Phan Thiet Ward Party Committee on the implementation of tasks in the first six months of the year and the key tasks for the last six months of 2026. According to the Phan Thiet Ward Party Committee, in the first six months, the ward proactively focused on implementing tasks to promote growth, ensuring the achievement of the "double-digit growth" target. Priorities included budget revenue collection, allocation and disbursement of public investment capital, and streamlining administrative procedures to improve the business environment and support citizens and businesses. Phan Thiet's state revenue collection reached VND 392 billion, equivalent to 76% of the estimate. Public investment capital disbursement reached VND 5 billion, or 53.97% of the planned capital, meeting the progress requirements set by the province. Simultaneously, the locality proactively prepared conditions to implement key projects in the coming period. Seafood exploitation output reached approximately 11,000 tons, or 52% of the plan. Tourism continued to recover and grow, welcoming about 550,000 visitors, an increase of 24.1% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the ward reorganized 44 residential groups into 18, reducing 26 groups. Phan Thiet is the central urban area and growth pole of Lam Dong province.
