Thailand Braces for Heavy Rainfall, Flood and High Wave Warnings Issued

Thailand's Meteorological Department forecasts increased rainfall nationwide due to a strong southwest monsoon and a low-pressure area, with heavy rain expected in western northern regions. Warnings are issued for flash floods and mudslides, particularly near waterways and low-lying areas. High waves of 2-3 meters are also anticipated in the Andaman Sea, with small boats advised to stay ashore.
