Union Solidarity and Development Party re-elects U Khin Yi as Chairman

U Khin Yi has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party. The 4th Party Congress (2026) of the Union Solidarity and Development Party was held for two days from September 19 to 20 at the meeting hall of the Union Solidarity and Development Party Headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw, after which the Party Central Committee and the Central Executive Committee were re-elected. In the newly elected Party Central Executive Committee, U Khin Yi was elected as Chairman, U Myat Hein and U Thaung Aye as Vice-Chairmen, and U Tin Aung Chit as General Secretary. U Hla Tun, one of the former Vice-Chairmen of the party, has retired from his party duties. It is known that 336 members of the Central Committee and 68 alternate members of the Central Committee were newly elected at the 4th Party Congress (2026) of the Union Solidarity and Development Party.
