Pailin Province Provides Free Accommodation and Meals for High School Exam Candidates

In Pailin Province, western Cambodia, a supportive initiative is being implemented for candidates preparing for the High School Diploma (Bac II) examination scheduled for August 10-11, 2026. Deputy Prime Minister I Chhean, who also serves as the Prime Minister's working group leader for Pailin Province, and Governor Dr. Pan Sreymom have pledged to provide free accommodation, three meals a day, and secure parking for bicycles and motorcycles to all candidates. This gesture aims to alleviate the financial and logistical burdens for students traveling from distant areas to the examination center at Hun Sen Pailin High School in Teptnimith city. The provincial administration, in collaboration with the Provincial Branches of the Cambodian Youth Federation, the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, and relevant security forces, is meticulously organizing the accommodation, meals, and transportation to the exam venues. Candidates have expressed profound gratitude for this generous support, stating their commitment to studying diligently and achieving success in their examinations to reciprocate the kindness of the provincial leadership. For the 2026 High School Diploma examination, Pailin Province expects a total of 121 candidates, including 64 females. These candidates will be distributed across two examination centers and 27 examination rooms. This support underscores the commitment of the Royal Government and provincial authorities to promoting education and human resource development in Cambodia.
