Don Mueang Airport Police Assist Colombian Tourist in Recovering Lost Wallet from Bolt Ride

Don Mueang Tourist Police in Bangkok successfully helped a Colombian visitor recover a wallet that had been left behind in a Bolt ride. On July 23, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the tourist contacted the Don Mueang Tourist Police for assistance after realizing his wallet was missing from a Bolt vehicle. The tourist explained he had used the Bolt service on July 16 around 4:30 a.m., traveling from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Mueang Airport before continuing his journey to Phuket. He later discovered his wallet had been left inside the vehicle but only sought police help a week later. Officers gathered trip details from the Bolt application and used the vehicle registration information from the booking records to identify and contact the driver. The driver confirmed he had found and kept the tourist’s wallet. The wallet contained credit cards but no cash was found. Tourist police then coordinated with the driver to bring the wallet back to Don Mueang Airport, where it was safely returned to the tourist. The visitor agreed to compensate the driver for his time and expressed his appreciation to the officers for their assistance.
