Woman murdered in Ponnagyun, 3 suspects arrested and investigated by AA administration

The Law Enforcement and Public Security Department (DILAP) of the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government has arrested and is investigating three suspects in connection with the murder of a woman in Ponnagyun Township, Rakhine State, it was announced on July 24. According to the DILAP statement, a local woman was the first to discover the body of an unidentified woman near an orchard in the vicinity of Tan Swe village, Ponnagyun Township, on July 22 around 4:45 PM. The victim was found handcuffed and in a prone position, having been murdered. Investigations are ongoing to quickly identify and apprehend the perpetrators of this murder, and currently, three suspects are being arrested and investigated in accordance with DILAP procedures.
