Senior Advisor to the King, Dr. Men Sam An, has supported and urged that the production of Khmer-made food products must prioritize quality, safety, and the health of the people as the main focus. The government permits private sector investment in businesses in Cambodia, which must be strengthened and consider quality. This was stated by Dr. Men Sam An while presiding over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a food and beverage factory, a private sector enterprise of Chip Mong, located in Ruluos Village, Chung Aek Commune, Dangkao District, Phnom Penh on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Dr. Men Sam An thanked the private sector, Chip Mong Company, and all leaders and staff for their efforts in establishing the food production factory, equipped with the latest technology for producing quality and standardized products. Currently, despite geopolitical tensions escalating to armed conflicts in some areas and the Middle East falling into war, which greatly impacts the economies of all countries worldwide, leading developing countries, especially vulnerable populations everywhere, to face loss of income, increased living expenses, and falling into poverty. However, in this situation, Chip Mong Company continues its activities and has continuously expanded its business through many commendable achievements. The groundbreaking ceremony for the food and beverage production factory today clearly demonstrates the continuous growth and development of Chip Mong Company. The company's development shows the resilience of enterprises and the ability of domestic production to seize opportunities to produce daily necessities such as food, beverages, and other processed products.
