Vietnam's Military Region 4 Honors War Heroes, Supports Remains Recovery Efforts

In Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, a delegation led by Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, conducted memorial activities to honor war heroes and individuals who contributed to the revolution. These activities expressed gratitude and remembrance for the heroes who fought and sacrificed for national liberation and defense. The delegation visited the Truong Son National Cemetery and Duong 9 National Cemetery, laying flowers and offering incense. In the Cau Nhi area of Nam Hai Lang commune, they inspected units engaged in the recovery and organization of remains of soldiers who died in May 1972, offering encouragement and supplies. They also visited teams collecting and digitizing remains samples at the Duong 9 National Cemetery. In parallel with these memorial activities, the Vietnam Journalists Association and partner businesses implemented a support program for schools and students facing difficulties in Hieu Giang and Huong Hiep communes, Quang Tri Province. A computer room was donated to Cam Hieu Primary and Secondary School in Hieu Giang, and 50 bicycles were given to students at Krong Klang Secondary School in Huong Hiep. These initiatives demonstrate Vietnam's commitment to honoring past sacrifices and investing in future generations. Under its one-party system, Vietnam emphasizes respect for those who contributed to national unity and development as a key element of national cohesion. The country, while experiencing economic growth, also prioritizes social welfare and education, with such support activities serving to strengthen community solidarity.
