Vietnam Eases Long-Term Lending Rules, Boosting Credit Space Amid Funding Flow Concerns

Effective July 1, Vietnam's central bank will raise the ceiling for short-term funds used for medium and long-term loans from 30% to 40%. This is expected to create credit space of over VND 1 quadrillion (approx. $40 billion), but concerns linger about the destination of these new funds and associated risks.
