Angkor National Polytechnic Institute Opens 7 Skilled Training Programs for New Graduates

SIEM REAP, Cambodia -- The Angkor National Polytechnic Institute is providing training opportunities for recent high school graduates in advanced technical diploma programs (2-year study). The acquired skills can be utilized for employment in various institutions, private sector companies, factories, enterprises, or for personal business ventures. According to the institute's report, the curriculum focuses on seven specialized fields: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Mechanic Engineering, Refrigeration and Information Technology Engineering, and Science. These programs are designed to meet the demands of the current competitive labor market and equip young people with practical competencies for the future, aligning with standards from Singapore, South Korea (KOICA), and FORD Motor Company. In the 2025-2026 academic year, 1,324 students, including 172 females, were enrolled in the advanced technical diploma courses. The institute is scheduled to conduct final examinations for 581 second-year students, including 86 females, on August 14, 2026. For the new academic year 2026-2027, the institute is actively recruiting students. It encourages recent high school graduates to choose a specialized field that matches their interests and abilities, enabling them to secure decent employment and stable income. By expanding the options for technical specializations, the Angkor National Polytechnic Institute actively contributes to the government's policy of "One Youth, One Skill."
