Woman found dead on the side of Kanpat Road in Mandalay City

A woman was found dead on the side of Kanpat Road in the Singyarchaung area of Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay City, around 7 AM on September 16 (today), according to reports. It is understood that officials went to the scene to investigate after a male motorcycle taxi driver reported finding an unidentified woman dead between 32nd and 33rd streets on Kanpat Road, Daywun West Ward, Chanayethazan Township. An official from the Aye Chan Nye Social Welfare Association, who assisted in transporting the body to the hospital, said, "The deceased woman is estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old. There are no external injuries. We have not yet been able to contact her family, so we do not yet know who the deceased is."
