Vinh Long Province Promotes Patriotism with 'Flag-Lined Streets'

In Vietnam's southern Vinh Long Province, a unique initiative to foster national patriotism is gaining momentum and spreading across the region. Dubbed 'Flag-Lined Streets,' this project is spearheaded by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long Province as part of its efforts to commemorate major holidays and promote patriotic movements. The initiative has garnered strong consensus and support from residents in various localities within the province, allowing its meaningful ethos to permeate throughout the entire region. The absolute alignment between the will of the people and the Party's guidance is credited with creating a powerful ripple effect and facilitating the effective expansion of this model province-wide. Alongside these patriotic endeavors, Vinh Long Province is also advancing various development schemes. Notably, the province is set to host the national gathering for 'National Day for the Protection of the Fatherland' in 2026. Furthermore, efforts are underway to enhance administrative efficiency through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the establishment of a factory with an annual capacity of 84,000 tons for fish feed and cold-water fish, and the implementation of social welfare projects such as 'The Light of Return.' These activities serve as concrete examples of local-level implementation aimed at achieving the goals of national construction and public unity advocated by the Communist Party of Vietnam. Under the one-party system, such grassroots patriotic education campaigns are considered a crucial means to strengthen national solidarity and bolster commitment to state objectives.
