This initiative seeks to support domestic enterprises in solving challenges through AI utilization and cultivate an innovation culture. A notable aspect of this year's program is Vietnam's hosting of the first international Olympic competition specifically focused on AI. This event marks a groundbreaking step in clearly demonstrating Vietnam's position within the global AI ecosystem and deepening its integration with the international community. The competition is expected to significantly contribute to discovering and nurturing talent in Vietnam's AI sector and building international cooperative relationships. Under its one-party system, Vietnam, with strong leadership and rapid economic growth as its backdrop, is actively investing in high-tech fields. AI, in particular, is positioned as an indispensable element for upgrading manufacturing, developing the digital economy, and strengthening future international competitiveness. While maintaining a complex relationship with China, Vietnam is pursuing its own diplomatic course and striving to enhance its presence in the global technological development race. The Innovation Challenge Competition Series has already commenced in Da Nang city, advancing the dissemination and application of AI technology at the local level. Startup companies are also making efforts to strengthen their competitiveness through innovation, aiming to expand export opportunities.
