North Jakarta Sees Another Land Fire, 25 Personnel Deployed

JAKARTA - Land fires have occurred again in North Jakarta. This time the fire burned land overgrown with reeds on Jalan Kompleks Pelindo 2, Cilincing Village, Tuesday afternoon. "The burned object is land overgrown with reeds," said Gatot in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 15. Officers arrived at the scene seven minutes later or at 14.19 WIB and immediately carried out the blackout. A total of 25 personnel with five fire trucks were deployed to the location. The fire was then successfully localized and officers continued the cooling process. "The fire is still being handled by officers," said Gatot. Officers are also still investigating the cause of the fire and calculating the losses. Until this information was delivered, there was no information regarding the victims due to the incident. "Officers are still working on the ground," he said. The fire in Cilincing occurred a day after a similar incident on Jalan Kampung Bandan, Ancol Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta. In the fire on Monday, September 14, the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-Directorate deployed 55 personnel. The object that was burned was also a land overgrown with reeds. The fire in Kampung Bandan was first reported by residents at 12.55 WIB.
