
Philippines keeps US sugar quota, gets 2nd highest allocation
The Philippines has secured a raw sugar export quota of 145,235 metric tons (MTVR) to the US for the 2027 fiscal year, the second largest allocation after the Dominican Republic. This marks the fourth consecutive year of maintaining a similar quota, aiming to stabilize domestic production and support farmgate prices.
