Banteay Meanchey Governor Hails High School Diploma as Key to New Life Stage
Banteay Meanchey Governor congratulated students who passed the High School Diploma exam (Batt Dop), calling the qualification a key to a new stage in life. Among the successful candidates were 88 students who received an 'A' grade. Those who did not pass were encouraged to pursue further studies or vocational training.
Banteay Meanchey Provincial Governor, H.E. Oum Ratry, warmly congratulated and praised all students who have diligently studied and achieved success in passing the High School Diploma examination (Batt Dop). This statement was made during his chairmanship of the announcement of the examination results for the August 10, 2026 session, held at Hun Sen Khla Khun High School on the morning of September 2, 2026. H.E. Governor Oum Ratry stated that this victory is the fruit of 12 years of sacrifice, patience, and continuous perseverance. He emphasized that the obtained diploma is a crucial key to another new stage of life, namely higher education and vocational skill development. This success is not only a personal pride but also a great honor for parents, guardians, teachers, and the entire family, he added. Concurrently, H.E. Oum Ratry expressed regret for students who did not achieve the desired results and encouraged them not to lose hope, noting opportunities to continue their studies for an associate's degree or to acquire vocational skills at the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Polytechnic Institute to gain knowledge and expertise for life. It is noteworthy that in Banteay Meanchey province, 88 students received an 'A' grade, 419 received 'B', 1060 received 'C', 1889 received 'D', and 1979 received 'E'. Nationally, a total of 125,975 candidates passed, representing an 84.06 percent pass rate.
