Thai Government Approves Additional Aid for Sugarcane Farmers

Thailand's Ministry of Industry has proposed and received cabinet approval for additional relief measures for sugarcane farmers, as part of an initiative to encourage high-quality fresh sugarcane production to reduce PM2.5. A total of 477 million baht will be allocated to growers of fresh sugarcane for ethanol and brown sugar factories, as well as those with minor impurities.
