Cambodia: 50 Civil Society Organizations Call for Release of Former Monk and Dropping of Charges
Fifty Cambodian civil society organizations have issued a joint statement demanding the immediate release of former monk Chea Vuthy (27) and the dropping of his 18-month prison sentence. He was convicted of "incitement to cause severe social unrest" based on private messages exchanged on a messaging app.
