Destroying education is destroying the country's future, says Head of State

There are schools that have been closed due to threats to proper education, and such actions are pushing and destroying our region to a backward place, and destroying education is destroying the future of the country, said Head of State Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. He made these remarks while giving a speech at a meeting with the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, and Region and State Chief Ministers, held at the meeting hall of the Head of State's Office on the morning of June 29. He said that it is necessary to work towards reopening basic education schools that can be reopened among the schools that cannot be opened for various reasons. Furthermore, he also said that those who have patriotism, love for their region, and love for their race need to collectively oppose and work against the acts of regional destruction with the combined strength of the community. In addition, Head of State Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that it is necessary for the Tatmadaw and members of the Myanmar Police Force, who are carrying out national defense and security duties, and administrative officials to cooperate and carry out security work for the schools, and to work towards reopening all schools, and at the same time, it is necessary to draw up and implement plans related to security in each region.
