Gojek Co-founder, Ex-Education Minister Jailed 10 Years for Corruption

Nadiem Makarim, co-founder of Indonesian ride-hailing giant Gojek and former Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of corruption. Makarim maintains the verdict is politically motivated and plans to appeal.
