Tourism Fee Collection via Airlines Faces Hurdles; Digital Card Proposed

The Thai government's plan to collect a tourism fee of at least 300 baht is facing significant implementation challenges when attempting to collect it through airlines due to limitations in their back-office systems. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is now being considered a more feasible alternative.
