Ukrainian authorities reported that Russian forces launched a large-scale night attack using missiles and drones on the capital, Kyiv, and its surrounding areas on the 5th, resulting in at least 17 deaths and numerous injuries. Ukraine's Air Force claimed that Russia launched 115 drones, 24 ballistic missiles, and 4 anti-ship missiles in this attack.
