Tboung Khmum Province Women and Children Affairs Consultative Committee Holds 23rd Ordinary Meeting

The Women and Children Affairs Consultative Committee of Tboung Khmum Province held its 23rd ordinary meeting of the 4th mandate on July 22, 2026. The meeting, chaired by Mrs. Leng Sokha, Chairperson of the Consultative Committee for Women and Children Affairs, aimed to review, discuss, and approve key monthly agenda items, focusing on enhancing the rights and well-being of women and children. The meeting took place in Conference Room (B) of the Provincial Hall, attended by Provincial Council members, Mrs. Ni Chanthea, and numerous committee members representing various provincial departments, units, and other relevant stakeholders. In her opening remarks, Mrs. Leng Sokha highly praised and appreciated the strenuous efforts of all committee members for their consistent and excellent cooperation in the work of promoting the rights and well-being of women and children in the province. She emphasized that the current adjustment of the committee's composition is a restructuring to strengthen the work and ensure it is precisely targeted, enabling a timely response to actual needs. She also urged the entire assembly to carefully examine and evaluate both the old minutes and the July monthly report to reflect on strengths, challenges, and jointly set directions for more effective solutions in the next meeting. According to the agenda, the meeting reviewed, discussed, and approved four main points: 1. Reading of the Decision: The meeting read the decision on amending Article 1 of Decision No. 005/24 SSS/TK dated August 29, 2024, regarding the recognition of the composition of the Women and Children Affairs Consultative Committee of the Tboung Khmum Provincial Council. 2. Review and Approval of Minutes: The meeting meticulously reviewed and approved the draft minutes of the 22nd ordinary meeting of the Provincial Committee for Women and Children Affairs. 3. Review, Discussion, and Approval of Report: The meeting reviewed, discussed, and approved the draft July report of the Provincial Committee for Women and Children Affairs to summarize work results and evaluate achievements for the month. 4. Other Matters and Future Direction: The meeting disseminated a notification regarding the agenda, date, and location for the 24th ordinary meeting of the Committee for Women and Children Affairs, scheduled for August 20, 2026, at Conference Room (B) of the Provincial Hall. The meeting proceeded with a high spirit of responsibility and achieved fruitful results in line with the planned agenda, aiming to further promote the well-being and rights of women and children throughout Tboung Khmum Province.
