Lapindo Mudflow Tragedy: Two Decades of Unending Suffering for Victims

Two decades after the 29 May 2006 Lapindo mudflow in Sidoarjo, Indonesia, victims continue to suffer from displacement, difficulties in accessing essential services due to digitalization, and unfulfilled compensation. A ritual was held to commemorate ancestors and remember the ongoing impact of the disaster.
