
Automatic Train Braking System to be Installed at Bangkok's Most Dangerous Level Crossing
The Ministry of Transport plans to install an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system at the Makkasan level crossing within six months, following a fatal train-bus collision. The system will automatically stop trains if barriers are not fully deployed, with plans to expand it to all Bangkok crossings.
