
Thailand to Implement Unified Rail Pass in Early 2025, Fares Set at 17-45 Baht
The Thai cabinet has approved the introduction of a unified rail pass system, "Single Ownership," set to launch in early 2025. The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) will oversee integrated fare collection, with fares ranging from 17 to 45 Baht. This system will allow for single payments across over 70 routes with transfers.
