Unoperational Factory Catches Fire in Kampong Speu, Cambodia
An unoperational factory, slated for launch, caught fire in Cambodia's Kampong Speu province on the afternoon of the 14th. Firefighters are on the scene, but the cause and extent of the damage are under investigation.
A factory in Kampong Speu province, Cambodia, which was slated to commence operations, caught fire on the afternoon of September 14, 2026, at approximately 12:50 PM. The incident occurred within the special economic zone in O'Ta' Pong village, Roka' Koah commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province. Authorities and law enforcement are actively intervening, deploying fire trucks from the Kong Pisei district police inspectorate and Samrong Tong district, as well as vehicles from the Kampong Speu provincial police headquarters to assist in combating the fire.
