Typhoon Noul strengthens, forecast to enter East Sea and hit China's Guangdong

Typhoon Noul has intensified east of the Philippines and is forecast to move northwest into the East Sea. While not posing a direct threat to mainland Vietnam, it is likely to make landfall on the coast of China's Guangdong Province. Strict warnings are in place for vessels at sea.
