Cambodia Rejects Thai Border Village Claims, Demands Joint Survey and Return of Displaced Residents

Cambodia's Ministry of Interior has vehemently rejected Thailand's claims to border villages, asserting that historical treaties govern the boundary. The ministry urged Thailand to engage in joint demarcation through the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) and stressed the urgent need for the safe return of approximately 20,000 displaced Cambodian residents whose communities were allegedly damaged by Thai military forces.
