Surraff Kadir Pasandalan was killed in a gun attack along LR Sebastian Street, Barangay Rosary Heights XII. His 16-year-old son, who was driving the motorcycle, was injured. On Sunday morning, a tricycle driver was killed when shot by still unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen along Jose Lim Street in Barangay Poblacion 5. An off-duty police officer, who happened to be passing by, was hit by a stray bullet and is now recuperating in the hospital. Stray bullets also hit two other civilians. Colonel Jibin Bongcayao, city police director, called on the public to help the police arrest the perpetrators.
