Don Mueang Airport Baggage Mix-up Resolved in 30 Minutes for Macau Tourist

BANGKOK, Thailand – A Macau visitor at Don Mueang International Airport had their suitcase mistakenly taken by another passenger at the baggage carousel on July 16, around 7:40 p.m. The tourist arrived on AirAsia flight FD763 from Macau and, after waiting approximately 30 minutes, realized their luggage was missing, suspecting it had been taken by mistake. The visitor reported the issue to airline staff, who provided documentation after checking baggage information. Subsequently, the tourist contacted Tourist Police for assistance in locating the missing luggage. Officers coordinated with AirAsia to obtain the contact details of the passenger who had inadvertently taken the wrong suitcase. Upon being contacted, the passenger confirmed the luggage had been mistakenly exchanged and agreed to return it to the rightful owner at Don Mueang Airport. The suitcase was successfully returned to the Macau tourist, who expressed gratitude for the Tourist Police's help.
