Science and Technology : Union Minster visits institutions under the ministry

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. MyoThein Kyaw, along with the Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko and officials, visited Technological University (Magway) on August 6th. After hearing the reports by the Pro-Rector of the University, the Union Minister and party discussed the renovation works of university entrance road, and matters on expansion of basic infrastructure in the future, as well as building of library and recreation center within the campus. The Union Minister and party later toured around the lecture rooms, computer rooms, laboratory rooms, workshops and library within the campus, instructing to maintain good characteristic of the university. The Union Minister and party also visited the Government Technical High School (Magway) and University of Computer Studies (Magway). They inspected the campus and met with the officials, department heads, lecturers and students to give necessary instructions and fulfill the needs. On August 7th, the Union Minister and party visited the Government Technical Institutes in Magway, Yenangyaung and Kyauk Padaung, met with the principals and faculty members at the respective meeting halls, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled the needs. He also inspected classrooms, laboratory rooms, workshops, libraries, football grounds, campus cleaning works and school project implementations by the students and coordinated the requirement.
