Cambodia Awards Incentives to High School Students, Encouraging Academic Achievement and National Development

An incentive award ceremony for high school students was held in Preah Sihanouk province on July 24, 2026, aimed at encouraging academic diligence and future contributions to national development. Mr. Peth Khaodang, Deputy Director of Administration for Preah Sihanouk Provincial Hall, representing the Provincial Governor, addressed students and teachers of the 12th grade at Stung Hav High School. He emphasized that the 12th-grade students are the "young bamboo shoots" who will inherit the nation and contribute to its future development. Mr. Peth Khaodang expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication in imparting knowledge to the students. He urged the students to diligently research new lessons and materials, which will serve as a foundation for their upcoming high school diploma examinations, the culmination of 12 years of study. He also conveyed well wishes for the students' success in their examinations and presented a financial contribution from Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife to the dedicated teachers who have invested their time and effort in tutoring the 12th-grade students at Stung Hav Hun Sen High School. This incentive program reflects the government's commitment to investing in education and fostering sustainable national growth through youth development.
