During the meeting, Mr. Prak Sokhonn also expressed gratitude for Malaysia's active role in maintaining long-term peace and stability in the region, especially in resolving the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict through the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement and the establishment of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT). It is noteworthy that Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn is on an official visit to Malaysia, responding to an invitation from his Malaysian counterpart. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during this visit, Mr. Prak Sokhonn will co-chair with Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan the Joint Commission meeting between the two countries to discuss the strengthening and expansion of bilateral cooperation.
