Great Unity House' Gifted to Struggling Family in Border Commune, Dak Lak Province

In Ea Bung commune, a border area in Vietnam's Dak Lak province, the inauguration ceremony for a 'Great Unity House' aimed at supporting struggling families was held on July 24th. The project was jointly implemented by the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command in coordination with the commune's Party Committee and local authorities. The newly built house was presented to the family of Mr. Ha Van Chuong, residing in Hamlet 5 of the commune. Mr. Chuong's family faces economic hardship, and the 'Great Unity House' is expected to significantly contribute to stabilizing their living conditions. As part of its community engagement initiatives, the Border Guard has a history of various support activities. These have included appreciation events for individuals with revolutionary merits, visits and gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, and support for residents' livelihoods during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday. These activities aim to improve social welfare and strengthen ties with the local population in border areas. The Vietnamese government prioritizes social inclusion and poverty reduction alongside economic growth. Border regions and areas with significant ethnic minority populations, in particular, receive focused attention for infrastructure development and living support. Grassroots initiatives like the 'Great Unity House' play a crucial role in the concrete implementation of government policies.
