Lao Cai Approves Ham Rong Mountain Tunnel Project in Sa Pa
Lao Cai Province, Vietnam has approved the Ham Rong Mountain Tunnel project, connecting National Highway 4D with Provincial Road 152 in Sa Pa. With a total investment of VND 2,500 billion (approx. USD 100 million), construction is slated from 2026 to 2029. The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in central Sa Pa and boost local economic activity.
