Emirates Boosts Phuket Flights with Third Daily Service, Airbus A350, and Premium Economy
Emirates has expanded its Dubai-Phuket service to 21 weekly flights, introducing the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 and Premium Economy. This move caters to increased demand from Europe, the Middle East, and GCC countries, offering enhanced convenience for travelers to Thailand.
Emirates has launched a third daily flight between Dubai and Phuket, expanding its services with the introduction of the latest Airbus A350 aircraft and enhanced Premium Economy seating for travellers to Thailand. The additional frequency strengthens the airline’s capacity to meet rising demand from Europe, the Middle East, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets during the summer travel season, offering passengers greater flexibility and improved connectivity through Dubai. With the new service, Emirates now operates a total of 21 weekly flights to Phuket using a combination of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft. The flight schedule includes EK390 departing Dubai at 22:40 and arriving in Phuket at 08:10 the following day, while the return flight EK391 departs Phuket at 10:00 and arrives in Dubai at 13:05 local time. The expanded schedule improves onward connections for travellers from major European cities including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, as well as destinations in the Middle East and beyond. It also enhances connectivity from Phuket to key global destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. The new Airbus A350-900 aircraft features a three-class configuration, including 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats. The Premium Economy cabin offers increased legroom, upgraded dining, and additional comfort-focused amenities. Passengers will also benefit from advanced onboard technology, including wireless charging in Business Class, digitally controlled window shades featuring Emirates’ signature Ghaf tree design, and upgraded ICE inflight entertainment with 4K and 4K HDR displays. The aircraft also offers high-speed Wi-Fi powered by satellite connectivity. Premium Economy passengers will receive increased baggage allowance of up to 35kg plus 10kg of carry-on luggage. Emirates said the expansion further strengthens its long-term commitment to Thailand, complementing recent investments including its renovated lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport SAT-1 terminal and the opening of the Emirates World retail store at Gaysorn Centre.
