State President U Min Aung Hlaing visited the Royal Palace of Thailand this morning (August 7) at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is on an official visit to Thailand. State President U Min Aung Hlaing performed the act of laying wreaths to commemorate the Queen Mother, Queen Sirikit, at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall of the Royal Palace of Thailand. Subsequently, State President U Min Aung Hlaing performed the act of laying wreaths to commemorate Princess Bajrakitiyabha at the Priman Rattaya Throne Hall of the Royal Palace of Thailand. The Myanmar delegation led by State President U Min Aung Hlaing made an official visit to Thailand from August 6 to 7 at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. During the visit, State President U Min Aung Hlaing held separate discussions with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and participated in Myanmar-Thailand bilateral talks. In addition, officials accompanying State President U Min Aung Hlaing on the trip and Thai officials exchanged signed documents between Myanmar and Thailand. Furthermore, State President U Min Aung Hlaing attended the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum 2026 and delivered a speech.
