The Ministry of Planning and Finance announced that the duty exemption for the import of ordinary diesel, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and fertilizers has been extended from September 1 to September 30. The exemption from customs duty, special goods tax, commercial tax, and a 2 percent advance income tax on the import of ordinary diesel has been extended from September 1 to September 30. Furthermore, it is stated that the exemption from customs duty, commercial tax, and advance income tax on the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has also been extended from September 1 to September 30. Similarly, the exemption from a 2 percent advance income tax on the import of fertilizers has also been extended from September 1 to September 30, according to the announcement. It is also stated in the announcement that the current duty exemption for the import of ordinary diesel, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and fertilizers will apply to imports for which an Import Declaration (ID) is opened at the Customs Department by September 30.
