2026 University Entrance Exam Passers Can Apply for Admission to Universities of Medicine, Dentistry and Related Medical Fields from September 28 to October 16

Passers of the 2026 University Entrance Exam can apply for admission to universities of medicine, dentistry, and related medical fields from September 28 to October 16, according to the Ministry of Health. Those who have passed the 2026 University Entrance Exam and wish to apply for admission as their first choice to any of the universities of medicine, dentistry, or related medical fields under the Department of Health Human Resources Development must submit their applications using the university entrance application envelope issued by the University Entrance Scrutiny and Selection Committee (Department of Higher Education). Those who apply as their first choice to universities of medicine, medical technology, nursing, and basic health sciences must send their university entrance application envelopes to the universities designated for application submission under the Ministry of Education. For those applying as their first choice to universities of medicine and dentistry, the university entrance application envelope must be sent directly to one of the eight application receiving locations mentioned above. The eight receiving locations are the Department of Health Human Resources Development (Nay Pyi Taw), University of Medicine (1), Yangon, University of Medicine (2), Yangon, University of Medicine, Mandalay, University of Medicine, Magway, University of Medicine, Taunggyi, University of Dental Medicine (Yangon), and University of Dental Medicine (Mandalay). Admission selection for universities of medicine, dentistry, and related medical fields will be conducted as specified in the University Entrance Guidebook, so applicants are advised to carefully read the guidebook before submitting their applications. The university entrance application envelopes will be accepted from September 28 to October 16, 2026, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (without any days off), according to the Ministry of Health.
