Cocoxim Recognized as Vietnam's Best-Selling Coconut Water Brand in 2025
Cocoxim brand's coconut water has been recognized by Euromonitor International as the No.1 coconut-derived beverage in Vietnam by sales volume for 2025. This highlights the success of leveraging Vietnam's rich coconut resources and developing products that meet modern consumer demands.
Euromonitor International, a global market research firm from the UK, has recognized Cocoxim as the No. 1 coconut water brand in Vietnam by sales volume for 2025, within the category of beverages derived from coconuts and other plants. This information was published in the Soft Drinks 2026 edition research, with data for the Vietnamese market as of November 21, 2025. A representative from Cocoxim's parent company, Ben Tre Export-Import Joint Stock Company (Betrimex), stated that this achievement comes amid the growing popularity of bottled coconut water as a healthy, natural, and convenient beverage choice for consumers. In Vietnam, coconut water has always been a familiar drink with its characteristic mild sweetness and refreshing coolness. Therefore, for a processed product to become a regular choice, convenience must be accompanied by stable quality and an intact flavor experience, akin to fresh coconut water, and tailored to Vietnamese tastes. "Being recognized as Vietnam's No. 1 coconut water brand is a significant milestone in Cocoxim's 10-year journey," the brand representative said. "This result reflects the acceptance and trust of consumers, while also demonstrating the potential of products developed from local raw materials and the ability to meet the increasingly diverse demands of the market." Cocoxim was built from the domestic market, starting in Ben Tre – a key coconut-growing region where the coconut tree has been an integral part of life and production for generations. From this raw material source, Cocoxim develops products made from 100% coconut water, providing natural minerals such as potassium, magnesium, sodium, calcium, and phosphorus, while aiming to retain the inherent characteristics of the coconut. To incorporate these natural values into a convenient product, Cocoxim utilizes modern UHT packaging technology from Tetra Pak. This technology helps maintain the natural flavor, quality, and abundant natural minerals and electrolytes in each coconut. It also meets preservation and transportation requirements, making coconut water more convenient for daily use while preserving its original essence. From Ben Tre, Cocoxim has gradually expanded to international markets and is now present in over 45 countries and territories. Each market has its own standards and requirements, making product quality and consistency crucial, controlled from the raw material source through production to the final product. For Cocoxim, the export journey is not just about crossing borders but also about carrying the story of the origin and value of its ingredients. From the coconut groves of Ben Tre, Betrimex is developing organic raw material areas to ensure a stable supply and enhance the long-term value of the coconut tree. Concurrently, Cocoxim pursues a Net Zero Waste orientation, aiming to fully exploit all components of the coconut – from the water, flesh, to the husk and shell. This is part of the effort to build a sustainable value chain for the coconut industry and promote a circular economy. According to the brand representative, Cocoxim will continue to develop new coconut-based products in the future, catering to the growing demand for healthy living. Through this, Vietnamese coconuts will not only be utilized more fully but will also find new ways to appear in modern life.
