Phnom Penh Cracks Down on Online Scams, Searches 64 Locations, Finds 306 Foreigners, Arrests Two Chinese Nationals

Phnom Penh authorities conducted a crackdown on online scams on June 23, inspecting 64 locations across the capital. A total of 306 foreigners were found residing in these premises. Two cases of online fraud were uncovered, leading to the arrest of two Chinese nationals and the seizure of related equipment. The operation was carried out under the direct command of the Phnom Penh Governor.
