The Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) has reappointed its current chairman, U Khin Yi, as chairman following the reorganization of its Central Committee and Central Executive Committee. This reorganization of the party's Central Committee and Central Executive Committee took place at the 4th Party Congress, held from September 19 to 20. In the newly reorganized Central Executive Committee, U Khin Yi was appointed as chairman, U Myat Hein and U Thaung Aye as vice chairmen, and U Tin Aung Chit as general secretary. Furthermore, 336 members of the Central Committee and 68 alternate members of the Central Committee were also elected at this congress.
