As artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies reshape the global economy, enhancing the digital capabilities of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) is deemed essential. This initiative aims not only to support their digital transformation but also to unlock new momentum for boosting productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness, said Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chair of the APEC 2027 National Secretariat Nguyen Minh Vu. In the era of AI, establishing support systems that enable MSMEs to adapt to the latest technologies and leverage their benefits is a pressing necessity. Deputy Minister Vu also touched upon promoting sustainable forest management and developing a modern international press center for APEC 2027, indicating Vietnam's commitment to international cooperation across various sectors. Under its one-party system, Vietnam consistently prioritizes economic growth and improving the lives of its citizens. The promotion of digital transformation is viewed as a critical strategy to accelerate industrial upgrading and structural reforms within the domestic economy, thereby strengthening Vietnam's position in global supply chains.
